Recent events at Gold and Coin Forum have prompted the Moderating and Administration Team to re-evaluate the Forum's general viewing criteria and layout.
As part of this and our ongoing endeavours to provide an interesting and friendly site,only members may access the chat room.
We also envisage a Members area that can support file and map downloads as they become available, as well as an archival section for relevant information.
Condensing of the sections now used will occur to make the page layout smaller in size and navigation easier for visitors, and some rarely visited areas will go. Also we are looking at providing a new and exciting section where answers to questions concerning detecting procedures as well as detector responses are able to be answered. A sound knowledge of detector operation and vast experience in our chosen field will be available from an operator who is well known and respected in the detecting fraternity.
This is a new section called "Ask JP a Question" where information about your detector can be gleaned.
The original aim of this forum was to provide a site where all members are considered to be equals regardless of experience, and to encourage positive posts about our chosen hobby, leaving the negativity part behind.
It is up our members to contribute and improve the information/knowledge base over time, and we encourage their participation in this. It is in this way that the Forum will grow and the information we seek will become available.
